Robert Joseph Miller, 86, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Las Vegas. Born March 30, 1925 in Chicago, he was the son of Nikolas & Rose (McBride) Miller. He married Rely on June 3, 1972. He is survived by his wife Rely; mother-in-law, Germana Rosal; sister-in-laws Yolanda, Norma, Faye, Luz, Amie, and Edith; his nieces and nephews; grandchildren abroad and family. He was preceded in death by brothers Michael & George; sisters Elizabeth, Loretta and Josephine. He served in the United States Army receiving a Purple Heart and two Bronze Battle Stars. He is also survived by one son, Robert J. Miller Jr, of Peoria, Illinois; grandchildren Chris Miller and Karen Schierer; great-grandchildren Ashleigh, Alex & Al Schierer. He will be dearly missed by his family.
