Ronald William Langford

Ronald William Langford was born June 15th, 1938 in New York City to Wilbur and Irene Langford. Ronnie enlisted in the United States Air Force right after high school. While Ron was in the Air Force, he married his high school sweetheart, Cleata Barnes (Bunnie) and they began their life at Francis E Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was there that they had their first child, Michelle.

After Ron's honorable discharge, the family returned to NYC where he then found employment with SwissAir Airlines at JFK Airport. His family had also grown to 5 with the addition of Debra and Darren. Ronnie loved to fish every chance he got and BBQ, where all the neighborhood kids would come to enjoy everything from burgers to ribs. Ronnie retired after 34 years with SwissAir. He and Bunnie then relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where they resided for over 30 years.

Ronnie is survived by his 3 children, Michelle, Debra and Darren; 3 grandchildren, Chris, Tiara and Anthony; 7 great grandchildren, Zahki, Montez, Carilee, Isaiah, Elijah, Caroline and Jalen; one brother, Kevin Bristow; god daughter Cheryl Russell; cousins, Mansoor Sabree and Sandy Glover; one sister in law, Rita Langford; one nephew Jeffrey Jones and niece Jaqueline Jones and a host of dear friends.

Although Ronnie has passed on and has gone to the big fishing boat in the sky, we will always have the memories that were made while he was here, in our hearts.
