Ron was born September 9, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio to Theodore and Sophie Janus.
He met the love of his life Patricia (Convery) Janus when he was 16 years old (Pat would say he was just a kid) but he eventually won her over and they married on September 27, 1958 and enjoyed 64 years of marriage together.
Ron spent all his working days in the corrugated box industry. Working 20+ years at St. Regis on Brookpark Rd. in Parma, Ohio. Then moving to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1978 to become V.P. of Production for Webster Packaging in Loveland, Ohio. He also worked part-time for Sears in Cleveland and Cincinnati for many years. Ron and Pat retired and moved to Las Vegas in 2000 where they vacationed many times throughout their marriage. He loved the weather (no more snow) and the slot machines.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Patricia, daughters Michele (Mark) Kocinski of Las Vegas (Lexington, KY), Kelly (Rick) Paquette, Cheryl (Dave) Stouffer both of Cincinnati, Ohio and son, Ron Janus of Las Vegas.
