Rosa Maria Ozaeta

Rosa Maria Ozaeta passed away at age 45 after a health battle, leaving behind a legacy of strength and compassion. Born on September 5, 1979, in Glendale, California, and raised in Las Vegas, NV, since 1988, where she built a life full of purpose, family, and fierce devotion to her children.

Rosa was a force of nature—compassionate, intelligent, and full of heart, with a fiery spirit and a protector mentality. She fiercely protected and loved her children above all else. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to Jaylynn, Emma, and Jorge. She made sure they always had what they needed, supported them, and deeply loved them.

She graduated from Rancho High School in 1997 and most recently worked for the Southern Nevada Housing Authority. Rosa took pride in everything she did, always putting care into her work and the people she served.

She is survived by her children, Jaylynn, Emma, and Jorge; her loving parents, Maria and Aristeo; and her sisters, Josefa, Cindy, and Krystal. Her brother-in-law David, nephew Angel, nieces Natalie, Joanna, and god-daughter Delyla. Her memory will live on through the memories she leaves and the strength she showed every day. To know Rosa was to be cared for by her—and that love will never be forgotten.
