Rose Battestini Cooper, 64, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on January 30, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 9, 1950 in Hue, Vietnam to Anthony Battestini and Dung Thi Nguyen. She was a retired food server, homemaker and a friend to all. Rose worked for over 24 years at the Flamingo Hilton, Mirage and Bellagio. After retirement, she went back to work at The Winery in Pahrump for a couple of years. She and her husband Frank enjoyed 24 years of marriage. They enjoyed traveling in the United States. Rose also made several trips to France to visit her family. Rose is survived by her husband Frank; a son Spike and his wife Milissa; three grandchildren Bryan, Anthony and Shelby; her sister Christiane; three brothers Phung, Bob and Long; her step-father Cot Nguyen and a step-son Adam Cooper. Rose was preceded in death by her father Anthony Battestini, her mother Dung Thi Nguyen and her brother Renaud Battestini. A Celebration of Rose’s life was held on February 12, 2015 at Palm Northwest Mortuary. Rose was laid to rest in her family estate next to her mother at Palm Northwest Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada.
