Rudy Cuellar Jr.

Rudy Cuellar Jr. October 16, 1940 – April 19, 2015 Rudy Cuellar Jr. was born in San Antonio Texas on October 16, 1940. He was proceeded in death by his father Rudy Cuellar Sr. and mother Adela Pastrano Cuellar. Rudy was raised in Lockhart, Texas and had three younger siblings, Mary Alice Pierce, Ernest Cuellar (Selma), and Dianna Claprood (John). On June 5, 1960, Rudy married Rafaela Trevino at St. John's Catholic Church of San Marcos, Texas. They have 5 children, Margaret Ann Orozco (Ismael - deceased), John Charles Cuellar (Renee), Susanna Rudd (Samuel), Richard Cuellar and Adela Rebecca Cuellar (George Hernandez). The also have 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren with one on the way. Rudy served as a Private in the Army National Guard and was stationed in Lockhart, TX, then transferred to South Carolina. He remained in the Reserves for many years. In 1964 he moved to Las Vegas. While living in Vegas Rudy worked in many occupations. One of his first jobs was being a waiter. He had the privilege of being a server for the Elvis and Pricilla Presley wedding reception. Of all of his occupations, he enjoyed being a jewelry designer; he also enjoyed working for Bags of Nevada, which was his last job. On April 19, 2015, Rudy went to be with the Lord. He is greatly loved and will truly be missed. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
