I Am a Teacher
I am a teacher,
An excellent porter.
My pupils are the clay,
I mould each passing day.
I am a teacher,
My class is the world.
Where lives are shaped,
And leaders fully made.
I am a teacher,
I recognize promising dreams,
Share of my pupil's dreams,
And help actualize these dreams.
I am a teacher,
I nurture young minds,
To life's experiences
And shapen destinies.
I am a teacher,
I right every wrong,
I instill discipline,
And my product is nurture.
I am a teacher,
My pupils are like grains,
I sieve out the chaff,
And turn them to fine grains.
I am a teacher,
My class is the furnace,
Where green horns and raw gold,
Are made into fine steel.
I am a teacher,
Teaching resilience and determination,
To shape bent minds,
And turn out men of grandeur.
I am a teacher,
Who populate the world,
With learned minds,
To make each home a better place.
