Sarah and I went to arbor view high school together I sat next to her in the 10th grade she was a very shy girl but with a sense of humor I use to make her laugh all the time. She dated my best friend in highschool senior year he ended up passing a year after we graduated. Sarah was a loyal individual to her friends family and partner she was amazing at soft ball and had an amazing heart.

You were the truest friend I’ve ever had. I will cherish all of the memories we made while growing through each chapter forever. I will hold that special bond we shared extra close to my heart. Though the words I write cannot capture everything I wish I could say and share with you. I hope you know how truly proud I am of the women you are and the life you built for yourself. 

A poem I wrote for you -
“My Dearest Friend, Sarah”

Two little girls, coming of age,
Two little girls, each with a blank page.
Growing up in Las Vegas, a city so wide -
What are the odds we'd end up at each other's side? 

We were Wildcats, Team Intensity, Aggies and more, 
Those weekends we traveled I will always adore.
Countless hours we spent working on our game,
Some of the best years with you, my twin flame. 

We took some time, we grew, we healed,
Nothing but love in my heart, is all I feel. 
I’ll always be here, and want you to know, 
I know it’s not your first choice to go. 

You’ll live in our hearts forever and ever,
Into the next life, you’ll roam wherever -
I will miss you dearly, but your spirit lives on,
I know you’ll be around long after you’re gone. 

There’s only one thing left I’d like to say,
I’ll count you in my blessings each and every day. 
What I would give to go back to that stage -
When we were just two little girls coming of age.
