Savitri Arjune, age 83, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Savitri was born on Tuesday, November 12, 1940 in Georgetown, Demerara-Mahaica, Guyana to Tej Vertie Sawh (Panday) and Paul Sawh.
Savitri is survived by her spouse, Rudolph Arjune; her sons Mervyn Bissember, Malcolm Bissember, and Raymond Bissember. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, grandchildren, and her three daughter in laws.
Savitri was preceded in death by her daughter Samanta Arjune; her father Paul Sawh and her mother Tej Vertie Sawh (Panday).
A visitation for Savitri will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A committal service will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A reception will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
