Sharon Kay Fitzgerald 78, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV surrounded by friends and family. Sharon was born on April 13, 1946, the daughter of Leland and Dorothy (Traynor) Herrick. She graduated from Princeton, IL High School with the class of 1964. She is survived by two daughters; Michele (Paul) Rispoli of Las Vegas, NV, and Amy (John) Novak of Las Vegas, NV; one son-in-law, Jim Ince of Kewanee, IL; five grandchildren, Joshua Ince, Cassi Ince, Natalie Novak, Emma Novak and Riley Novak; five great-grandchildren, Brezlyn Ince, Bryer Ince, Beckett Ince, Damian Darby-Ince and Zendaya Darby-Ince; one sister, Linda (Eugene) Jeffery of Wyanet, IL and one brother, Tim (Joan) Herrick of Mauritania; along with nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Robert Fitzgerald, parents, and daughter, Patti Ince. A celebration of life will be held in Princeton, IL at a time to be determined. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in lieu of flowers or gifts.
