Sharon Lynn Kuehl (Sherry), 86 years old, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2023. She leaves behind her son, Brian Kuehl and daughter Amy Litman (husband Don Fouts), of Las Vegas and her daughter Sally Grandick (husband Dan Grandick) of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Grandchildren Jonathan Litman, Eve Sears ( husband Evan), and Sherri Meinke ( husband Casey) are in Las Vegas, Ryan and Rachel Grandick reside in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Beth Gill is in Washington State. Her great grandchildren, William Sears and Addison Meinke, are in Las Vegas.
Sherry was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1937. She grew up in Urbandale, Iowa and is survived by her sister Andrea Yeater of Missouri. Her sister Judy Tasler and parents Fern and Forest Yeater died previously. She married James Kuehl in 1957, and they were married until his death in 2019. They lived in Omaha, where Sherry was a realtor for 30 years. Sherry and Jim spent winters in Las Vegas for many years until they moved there permanently in 2012. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be buried at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial and Cemetery, in Boulder City, Nevada.
