Stephen John Schreiber, 67, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on May 20th, 2016. He was born December 30th, 1948 in Ridgecrest, CA to Jeanne and Ray Schreiber and was a 5-year resident of Las Vegas. Steve lived all over the world while working as a geologist for Unocal and Chevron and had a strong passion for his 35-year career in the oil industry. He has 3 children, Stefanie Rasmussen, Valerie Blackman, and Britanie Schreiber, and six grandchildren, Micah, Olivia, Anastasia, Michel, Brodie, and Zoe. He is also survived by his significant other, Winnie Standley, his mother, Jeanne, his sister, Leslie Foster, and brother, Duane Schreiber. Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, 11:00am at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, 89131. Family requests that all gifts be made in the form of donations made to California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. He will be deeply missed.
