Teresa Ventura, amada esposa, madre y abuela, falleció en paz el 31 de mayo de 2025 a la edad de 65 años. Nació el 28 de febrero de 1960 en San Salvador, El Salvador, y construyó una vida marcada por el amor incondicional y el apoyo firme a su familia y comunidad. Hace tres años, a la edad de 62, a Teresa le diagnosticaron cáncer metastásico en etapa IV — una batalla que enfrentó con notable valentía y gracia, nunca perdiendo su gran fe en el Señor.

Atras quedan; su devoto esposo, Johnny Weisen Ventura, quien la cuidó con amor y entrega durante toda su jornada contra el cáncer hasta el final. La mayor alegría de Teresa fue su familia. Deja a sus seis amados hijos: Esther Paez, Johnny E. Ventura, David E. Ventura, Ismael A. Ventura, Isai Alonso Ventura y Weisen Isaac Ventura. También deja a su nieta adorada, Elena Paez, quien trajo luz y felicidad a sus últimos años.

Una mujer de amor y entrega extraordinaria, Teresa dedicó su vida a cuidar — especialmente de su querida madre, Emilia Trejo. Durante muchos años la cuidó con ternura y dedicación hasta su fallecimiento hace dos años, a la edad de 99 años. Cada momento de la vida de Teresa estuvo marcado por su devoción al bienestar de su madre, y ahora, se reúne con ella en el cielo, unidas para siempre en la paz eterna.

Teresa fue una mujer de fe profunda y firme. Amaba a Dios con todo su corazón y alma. Pasaba sus días en oración y leyendo la Palabra de Dios, de donde sacaba fuerza y consuelo. En cada etapa de su vida, se apoyaba en su relación con el Señor, y a través de esa fe, se convirtió en fuente de ánimo y fortaleza espiritual para quienes la rodeaban. Su fe era su fundamento, y por medio de ella consolaba, inspiraba y levantaba a todos los que tocaban su vida.

Encontraba gran alegría en las bellezas simples de la vida — amaba la jardinería y pasaba horas en paz cuidando de sus plantas. Tenía una profunda apreciación por la naturaleza y con frecuencia se maravillaba ante la creación de Dios. Su jardín era un reflejo de su alma: nutriente, vibrante y lleno de vida.

Teresa amaba a sus hermanos — Jose Eduardo Trejo, Adilio Trejo y Carmen Sigüenza — y tenía un lugar muy especial en su corazón para todos sus sobrinos y sobrinas. Fue un pilar de amor.La familia lo era todo para Teresa. Antes de su enfermedad ella mantenía con alegría, lazos cercanos con seres queridos en todo el mundo — en El Salvador, Costa Rica, por todo Estados Unidos, Europa y Sudamérica. Oraba por ellos constantemente y los amaba profundamente, sin importar la distancia.

El legado de Teresa es uno de amor, fe, fortaleza y entrega. Será recordada por la alegría que traía a cada lugar, por las oraciones que ofrecía por los demás y por la forma en que vivió su vida con gracia y compasión.

Su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de su familia, amigos y de todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.

Teresa Ventura, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on February 28, 1960, in San Salvador, El Salvador, Teresa built a life defined by unconditional love and unwavering support for her family and community. Three years ago, at the age of 62, Teresa was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic cancer—a battle she faced with remarkable courage and grace, never allowing her faith or spirit to waver.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny Weisen Ventura, who lovingly cared for her throughout her cancer journey until the very end. Teresa’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her six beloved children: Esther Paez, Johnny E. Ventura, David E. Ventura, Ismael A. Ventura, Isai Alonso Ventura, and Weisen Isaac Ventura. She also leaves her cherished grandchild, Elena Paez, who brought light and happiness into her final years.

A woman of extraordinary love and selflessness, Teresa dedicated her life to caring for others—most especially her beloved mother. For many years, she lovingly and tirelessly cared for her mother until her passing two years ago at the age of 99. Every waking moment of Teresa’s life was marked by devotion to her mother’s well-being, and now, she joins her in heaven, reunited in eternal peace.

Teresa was a woman of deep and abiding faith. She loved God with all her heart and soul. Her days were filled with prayer and reading the Word of God, drawing strength and peace from scripture. In every season, she leaned on her relationship with the Lord, and in turn, she became a source of encouragement and spiritual strength for those around her. Her faith was her foundation, and through it, she comforted, inspired, and uplifted everyone who came into her life.

She found great joy in the simple beauty of life — she loved to garden and spent peaceful hours tending to her plants. She had a deep appreciation for nature and often marveled at the wonder of God’s creation all around her. Her garden was a reflection of her soul: nurturing, vibrant, and full of life.

She was deeply devoted to her family. Teresa loved her brothers — Jose Eduardo Trejo, Adilio Trejo, and Carmen Siguenza — and she held her nieces and nephews close to her heart. Family was everything to Teresa. She joyfully maintained close ties with loved ones across the globe — in El Salvador, Costa Rica, throughout the United States, Europe, and South America. She talked about them often, prayed for them constantly, and loved them deeply, no matter the distance.

Teresa’s legacy is one of love, faith, strength, and selflessness. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into every room, the prayers she whispered on behalf of others, and the way she lived her life with grace and compassion.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service for Teresa will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
