Timothy (Tim) Anthony Lehan, of Las Vegas, passed away on August 13, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born on June 2, 1976, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Walter A. and Barbara D. (Smoluk) Lehan. Tim graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1994 and went on to earn a B.S. degree in Radiology from Misericordia University in 1998.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Heather (Shank) Lehan; his brother and sister-in-law, Brian K. and Deborah S. Lehan; his nephews, Sean C. Lehan and Colin S. Lehan; his step-son, Tyler Smith-Watner; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Christopher and Jennifer Shank; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Landin and Lena Shank; and countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and grandparents on both sides of the family.
Tim and Heather were married on October 19, 2012, in San Diego, California. Their relationship was a true love story, marked by deep friendship and unwavering partnership. Tim’s devotion to Heather never faltered, and he continued to look after her in life and in death. Although they had no children, their animals—Charlie Brown, Nina, and Stella—were like family to them.
Tim had a passion for music and was an accomplished guitarist. He even wrote the song for his and Heather's first wedding dance. Throughout his life, Tim played in multiple bands from New Jersey to Las Vegas. He was also a talented athlete, excelling in soccer, baseball, basketball, and hockey during his school days.
Tim was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. Whether driving from New Jersey to New York on 9/11 to assist hospitals or playing basketball with a young neighbor who had no one to play with, Tim's kindness knew no bounds.
Professionally, Tim was devoted to his career at G.E. where he was employed for the past four years. He was well-respected by his colleagues, employees, and upper management, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the employees of Mountain View Hospital, especially the ICU department, as well as to Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.
