

Tonya was born in Philomath, Oregon (Benton Co.) on July 29, 1969 to parents – Victoria Christine Lyday and Charles Allen Hazelton. She has 1 brother, Shandley Hazelton and Tammy DeMeo (Childhood friend over 40+ years) She had 1 marriage: Richard Serrano (Las Vegas, NV).
Her education: Western High school (Graduate), Clark County Community College (Obtained Diploma in 1987), University of Nevada (obtained Dental Hygiene License [R.D.H] from 1988-1999)
In her early years Tonya worked at Northwest Orthodontics in Las Vegas from 1990-2002. She was included in tasks such as Treatment Coordinator, Account Management, Scheduling, provided X-Rays using the Dolphin Imaging System, Bracket Adjustment and Marketing. Not only did she develop this skill set but was also gifted as an artist who could draw/paint. She loved dolphins and her son Anthony Cruise Serrano. She was an outgoing mother and proved to be tough in any circumstance, battling anything that came her way. She resided her last weeks in Las Vegas, NV and moved there to be close with her only son.
• Achievements – Some include completing a 30-day course of management, marketing and customer service at the Walt Disney Resort through the American Association of Orthodontics in Orlando, Florida. Completed Extended Customer Service Courses through Clark County Community College in 1996. She completed marketing courses through the American Association of Orthodontics in Las Vegas, NV in 1997. Enjoyed road trips, attending baseball games to watch her son & husband play. Being a mom in an outgoing life. Exceptional artist in the hobby of Painting, as well as an influence of music on her only son. She also was extremely proud of her son who is a professional singer/guitarist musician till this day. She helped raise and influence who he is today and was able to see him perform over the continent.

The Family will grieve on their time and will notify for any service done for Tonya to friends/family. Thank you for the concern and kind words, thoughts, prayers in this difficult time. Tonya was fierce, strong, and full of energy. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. We love you.
