

Troy Maaño Robina, 66, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 7, 1960, Troy lived a life marked by perseverance, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility to those he cared about.
He was a loving husband to Jacqueline Luat, with whom he shared a life grounded in commitment and faith. He was a proud father to Dr. Ronualdo Robina, Ronna Robina, Smokey Luat, Stacey Luat, and Chuck Luat, and he warmly welcomed his daughter-in-law, Jenny Tan Robina, into the family.
He was also a grandfather to Jaedyn Johnson, Caedynce Meeks, Rylan Robina, Raiden Robina, and Sarey Luat. Each of them held a special place in his heart and will carry his memory with them in their own ways.
Troy was known as a hardworking and dedicated man, spending 22 years at AutoNation Honda. During that time, he built lasting connections and formed meaningful relationships with his clients, many of whom became like family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering guidance, support, and generosity to anyone in need. Many who knew him called him a legend; not just for his years of service, but for the way he showed up for others. Troy had a big heart, and he gave from it freely.
He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Rowena Robina Pontigon and Ronaldo M. Robina; his nieces and nephews, Larry R. Pontigon Jr., Laurence R. Pontigon, and Larnie Charmaine R. Pontigon; and his brother-in-law, Larry B. Pontigon, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Troy will be remembered for his strength, his work ethic, and above all, his generous heart. His legacy lives on in the family he loved and in the countless lives he touched.
