William Anthony Clancy

He was born on January 18, 1944, in Dublin Ireland to William and Mary Clancy. He was the fourth child of six and was proceeded to heaven by his older sister Mary and older brother Christy.

He came to America at the age of 18 and soon met his wife-to-be, Kathleen Miceli. They married on Long Island New York in St. James Church on May 8, 1966. Before he shipped out to join the war in Vietnam. He served in the Army and was an MP in Germany before heading to Vietnam.

When he got home from the war, he and Kay started their family. First born was their son James on January 9, 1968. Their daughter Kathleen “Heather” followed on August 2, 1969. They finished their family with their son Christopher on May 26, 1972.

He achieved his goal of becoming an American citizen on May 18, 1973.

He and Kay retired to Las Vegas in 1991 where they lived together, cruised the world, and spent time with family and friends until kay passed away I September 2013.

Liam is survived by his children James & his wife Rebecca, daughter Heather, and son Christopher and his wife April Joy. He is also survived by his grandchildren Matthew, Kristin, Sean, Anthony, and Patrick in Ireland he is survived by his older sister Mabel, younger brother David and younger sister Breda and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Palm Mortuary - Cheyenne, located at 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129, United States. The service will take place on February 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
