William "Billy" Guarin

Billy passed away surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with AML Cancer on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Born February 2, 1952, and raised in Seattle, WA until relocating to Henderson, NV in 1996. Billy owned and operated My Maintenance Man Automotive Shop in Henderson, NV until his retirement in 2016 and relocating to Pahrump, NV. Billy proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. Billy was a Christian and is with our Lord Jesus now in Heaven. He is survived by his Wife Sherry; Brothers David and Bryan, Sister Veronica. and brother Ray-Ray (who preceded him in death). His Children Rachell, Billy Jr. and Ricky, Step-children Donny and Angela; several Grand Children, Uncles, Aunties, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins. Billy loved his big family with all his heart and they loved him so much. When he made friends, they became family to him. We will miss him so much as he was special to everyone that met him. He loved helping people, which was the purpose God gave him during his time with us. He loved singing Elvis songs, and he loved fishing. He was very good at fixing things, and if he couldn’t fix it, nobody could. His greatest passion was his love for his family; he tried to help them all.

Two Celebrations of Life are being held as follows for family & friends in Nevada and Washington:

Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Donny Franco’s residence located at 6518 Somervell Ranch Street, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131 – Gate Code #1937.

Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at David Guarin’s residence located at 6954 Bayview Drive S.E. Port Orchard, Washington 98367.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to donate to a gofundme page that was set up prior to his death to help offset his final expenses.

Billy’s ashes will be buried with his wife Sherry’s ashes in the future in Kitsap County, Washington.
