Chamequa was a 2005 graduate of Berkmar High School in Lilburn, GA. She worked in hospitality and as a self-employed hairstylist. Anyone who knew her, knew that she had a passion for doing hair. As a young child she was always styling her baby doll’s hair; later as a preteen teen she was styling her nieces’ hair, and progressed into an amazing hairstylist in her adult years. As a child, she was very vibrant, persistent, and outspoken. She loved dressing up when she was just a young little girl; she would wear this one skirt that she adored. Our mother would have to hide the skirt at times but Chamequa would always find it and say look mom, not knowing the plan was for it to stay hidden. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, and performing in talent shows.
Chamequa had a personality that stood out amongst the crowd. Her smile was contagious to all that knew her and her heart was sincere. She, absolutely, adored her children who were the center of her life. Family was always her greatest priority. God was always the fore-front of her life and her spirituality was unwavering.
