and father to Wendy, Wanda, and William, passed away peacefully
surrounded by his family. Born in Tianjin, China, he served in the
Republic of China Armed Forces for the fight to unify China. After a
distinguished military career, he became a successful businessman in
Taipei, Taiwan. In 1979, John and family immigrated to Atlanta,
Georgia, where he became a reporter and community leader. John laughed
heartily and was a beacon of joy. He was the bravest, strongest, and
best man we know. Unceasingly generous and kind, he set the standard for
us all.
