It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Livingston Sr. Michael was born on February 10, 1966, in Eldorado, Arkansas. He peacefully fell asleep in death on August 29, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a void that can never be filled.
Michael was a loving husband, son, father, and grandfather. He met and married his devoted wife of almost 37 years, Noel Livingston, at Henderson State University. The two shared a lifetime of joy, laughter and love together, and to this union brought into the world four beautiful children: Michael II, Garret, Christian, and Taylor. Years later, that family grew into a even larger extended family which includes: Sandra, Renee, and Micah. Michael filled their lives with laughter, guidance, and unconditional love. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed.
Michael, lovingly remembered as “Pop Pop”, in addition leaves behind a legacy of seven beautiful grandchildren: Harley, Connor, Asher, Harper, Malani, Judah, Auden, and Gabriel. His grandkids were a constant source of joy and pride for him. Their Pop Pop cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by anyone who had the privilege to witness.
Michael, who served in the United States Army Reserves, later had a successful fulfilling career at Loganville Ford, where he dedicated his time and skills to servicing others. His hard work and commitment were always evident, earning him respect not only from his colleagues but also from the community he served.
More than anything, Michael was a devoted and dedicated Jehovah’s Witness. Who after a careful study of the scriptures, he made it his dedication to Jehovah God on March 31, 2007. He courageously spent his time preaching, teaching, and looking for ways to share the good news from God’s Word, the Bible. He believed whole-heartedly in his faith. He longed for the day when God’s promises of a future earthly paradise with no sickness, no pain, and even no death will be fulfilled.
Tragically, Michael's life was cut short due to complications from a stroke. While we find solace in knowing he did not suffer in pain, we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual.
As we say goodbye to Michael Livingston, we’re reminded of his strong faith in the resurrection and his love for Jehovah. His dad jokes and infectious laughter, endless supply of silly videos, and his unwavering love for his family will forever remain in our hearts. His memory will continue to inspire us to live with kindness, love, and compassion. We look forward to seeing him in paradise.
