Rudolph Walter Knott III was a man of honor. He traveled through this world with the intention to give and be there for anyone in need. He was like the boy who brought fish and loaves of bread to Jesus when he fed the multitudes. He was a brother in arms who suffered tremendously seeing his brothers fall in combat in the trauma of war. Brave soldier, excellent father, grandfather and great-grandfather, best friend, brother and neighbor, God's servant, wonderful provider whose mission in this life was to love everyone, shown through acts of kindness. He was Rudy… His sense of humor: contagious and uplifting. If you needed a father or a brother or simply a friend, he played the role. His motto: Remember me with laughter when I am gone. He fought with courage and finished his race with honors. His legacy will remain, and he will continue having the fruits of his labor.
