I think of you each day as I take my walk  and remember the many smiles and chuckles we shared! I miss you and pray that your family are doing well . Sleep well all is fine!

So saddened to hear of our lovely Karen's passing.   Although we haven't seen Karen here in West Kerry (Ireland) in a while, she always kept in touch.   What really struck me about Karen, even when dealing with tragedies of her own, she always showed a deep concern for others.  She always put others above herself.  An all round, inside and out,  beautiful lady. She will be sadly missed.   Heartfelt condolences to all of Karen's family and friends.

Sincere condolences to Sean, Sandy and family.   Karen was so kind to us when we moved to Tarrytown and cooked those wonderful Thanksgiving Dinners!  We kept in touch when we moved back to Ireland and Karen stayed with us when she visited.

I'll never forget the first time we met our new neighbor, Karen, after the purchase of our new cottage at Lighthouse Village.  She had such a welcoming and supportive spirit in making we knew the ins ands outs of the rules and regulations of the HOA and pool, since we were vacationers.  Having been on the HOA BOARD, she had such knowledge and we did appreciate it.  She was our neighbor but soon became a great friend in sharing birthdays, planting flowers, painting her room, helping her purchase a new car, playing trivia with friends, and always catching up with each other on the phone.  I was so privileged to visit her with my sister before her passing and will forever remember her last big smile!  We will miss our dear friend who made our then "happy place" a fun time to vacate.  Karen, we will see you again on the GLORY side!

This was a picture from my grandma’s birthday last year. Luckily, my children and I were able to celebrate her last birthday together, also our last Thanksgiving, teaching me how to cook my first turkey before she entered the gates of heaven. Special memories we all will cherish. She was my person- happy, sad, anxious, whatever the emotion was, she had open ears and a loving heart for me always without judgement. Thank you for being there for me in the good times and the bad times. I will forever miss our times staying up late watching crime documentaries, laughing out on the porch, and so much more. Thank you for loving my children and I with all your heart. You will forever be missed. Till we meet again, sleep in peace Nanny Karen.

Karen inspired me to visit Ireland,  With her help and guidance, my family was able to visit and navigate Ireland 3 times!  Upon my return, she always wanted to hear the stories see the pictures and tell me how jealous she was that she wasn't with us.
I will miss Karen's friendship, I will miss Karen's wit, and will miss her trivia presence as she did come up with key answers that would lead the team to victory,  To her family, I hope they find peace with her passing and know she was much loved in the Lightkeeprs neighborhood.

Karen & I went to OLVA high school in Tarrytown & Dobbs Ferry. I have such great memories of her, especially from our chemistry classes. We kept in touch on FB and I was planning to send her birthday wishes this week. May she rest in peace, and I send my condolences to her whole family.

I have such fond memories of us growing up in the VT.  I remember listening to music in your apartment.  Your mom and mine kept in touch on Facebook and I’d spoken to her about a year ago. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Sending my sincerest condolences to you both in your time of loss.

I will forever cherish time spent with Karen and her infectious smile and laugh!  The first time we met was at the pool...I was new at LHP and not yet full time. Karen "checked me out" to make certain I was a resident. I loved it and her at once.  I called her "the pool police" and many times was her "deputy".  I am so happy I visited a few days ago. Blessings to her Family.
