Daniel Lee Douglas "Danny"

Daniel “Danny” Lee Douglas, 65, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Born on March 10, 1952 in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late, Luther “Mack” and Betty Harrison Douglas.

Mr. Douglas served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Wanda Lewis Douglas; son, D. Brett Douglas; daughter, Sonya Douglas Ross (Matthew); brothers, Rick “Cooter” Douglas, Steve Douglas (Jaimie); three granddaughters, Maggie, Lainie, Danielle; mother-in-law, Esteline Jordan Lewis; brother-in-law, Russell Lewis; sister-in-law, Renee Lewis Gambill; faithful canine companion, C.J.; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving sister, Brenda Douglas McManus.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 8 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
