Davis Blair Collins

Davis “Dave” Blair Collins, Jr. 83, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 with his loving wife and daughter by his side. Born on February 13, 1941, in Boston, MA, Dave was the third of ten children born to the late Davis Blair Collins, Sr. and Elizabeth (Dundon) Collins. He was the devoted husband of 55 years to Roberta Jenkins Collins, “Dad” to April (Michael) Snow and Adam (Tiahna) Collins, and “Pop” to Joshua Collins, Connor Snow, Brendan Snow and Addison Collins.

Dave retired from Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) following 20 years of service working as a carman. Following retirement, he and Roberta lived in various states before making their home in Little River 26 years ago. Dave was a 35-year life member of the Randolph Elks Lodge #2130 in Randolph, MA and also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #186, Little River.

A licensed builder/carpenter by trade, Dave was very talented and took pride in all of his work. His favorite pastimes were walking, enjoying the beach, watching jeopardy and having himself cold Miller Lite! He was loved by all who knew him and his memory will live on.
