Edwin Robert McLenaghan

Edwin Robert McLenaghan, 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his home in Little River.

Edwin was born in Mt. Vernon, NY, a son of the late Edwin J. McLenaghan and Elsie M. Schule, and brother of the late Carol Muzio. He was the widower of his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Mary Lou McLenaghan.

Edwin retired from New York State DOT in 1987 and held local office positions in the village of Windsor, NY. He enjoyed music, conversation, nature, and long walks where local folks knew him as the “walking man”.

Surviving are his 3 sons, Allen James McLenaghan, Edwin James (Elaine) McLenaghan, and John William McLenaghan; 2 daughters, Linda Ann (Gary) Graves and Laurie Lee (Brian) Reed; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Christine Long, Sarah Marie Hoover, Erin Michelle Blalock, Natalie Ann McLenaghan, Edwin Robert McLenaghan, Tristan Dennison, Jessica Michelle Griffiths, Adon Charles Graves, Donald Leroy Roberts and Gretchen Lee Roberts; 11 great-grandchildren, Amelia Catherine Long, Claire Elizabeth Long, Eleanor Rose Long, Hadley Elaine Hoover, John Lewis Hoover, Madeline Ella McLenaghan, Fern Lucy Lee Hodge, Rileigh Grace Griffiths, Deeghan Everett Griffiths, Ryder Charles Graves and Gabrielle Pawela.

A private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to, Paralyzed Veterans of America or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
