Elizabeth "Beth" Ivey (Tyson) Manos

Elizabeth "Beth" Ivey Tyson Manos, 55, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019. Born in Greenville, NC, she was a daughter of James E. "T-Bird" Tyson and Jim Churchwell and the late Sylvia Johnson Churchwell.

Beth was the wife, of 20 years to Dan Manos. She had a love of the ocean and the sun. Beth had a tender heart for animals and loved her dogs. She was always seen dressed to the nines and a smile on her face. Beth was a wonderful cook and her rum cakes were true to their description and everyone loved them. Most importantly, she was loved by all and she loved deeply.

Surviving are her husband, Dan; father, Jim Tyson; step-father, Jim Churchwell; sisters, Jamie (Tim) Childress; Renee (David) Green; niece, Jessica Voytik; and nephew, Alex Voytik. She is also survived by her four-legged canine companion, Zeke.

A memorial service for will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in Lemon Springs UMC Cemetery, 7225 Lemon Springs Rd., Sanford, NC 27332.
