Eric C. Thur

Eric was born on September 25, 1954, and passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, and raised in Roxborough, Pennsylvania. Eric attended Roxborough High School and graduated from Temple University with a degree in Geology. He was predeceased by his Mother Anna Sashko and Father Charles Alfred Thur. Eric leaves behind his wife, Betty, and his daughter, Kelly Lynn, of Philadelphia, PA.

Eric was involved in many activities making model cars, trains, and planes to specification of the model year, he enjoyed his many friends in pickleball, photography, fishing, shooting at the range, playing cards, board games, mahjong, planting flowers in the spring, traveling, visiting car and train museums as often as he could, and he would locate and ride on steam trains throughout many of our states, as well as Australia.

A Memorial Service at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church will be held on December 5 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church.

Lee Funeral Home of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
