Francene Catherine Louth, of Marcus Hook, lost her short battle to Stage 4 metastatic brain and lung cancer on May 11th, 2024, at the age of 54. She departed peacefully at her home in Little River, South Carolina.
Francene was born on April 20th, 1970 in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. She resided there most of her life until December of 2017, moving to South Carolina, after the tragic death of her husband, Kevin Louth, in 2016. No matter the circumstances, she somehow always had a beautiful and contagious smile on her face. She was a Chichester High School graduate in 1988. She was a homemaker to her 4 beautiful kids. This was a hard job in itself, but it shaped all of the kids into the young adults they are today. Francene loved anything pink, Stevie Nicks, cooking, baking, and the beach.
Francene was predeceased by both of her parents, Sharon Skinner and Glen R. Gray, and her sister, Sheri Jo Gray.
She is survived by her cherished children, Cody Louth, Shane Louth, Rhiannon Louth, and Ryan Louth. She left behind her siblings Glen R. Gray Jr., and Gretchen Gray. She is also survived by her aunt, Janice Skinner.
No service will be held to respect her wishes.
Landslide by Fleetwood Mac
“I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Til the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
Mmm
Well, I've been 'fraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm gettin' older, too
Well, I've been 'fraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm gettin' older, too
I'm gettin' older, too
Ah, take my love, take it down
Oh, climb a mountain and turn around
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well, the landslide will bring it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well, the landslide will bring it down
Oh, the landslide will bring it down”
