Known to his family and friends as “Buddy”, he was born on July 31, 1971, in Patchogue, New York. Buddy was a son of Frederick C. Squires III. and Adele R. Richardson Squires.
Buddy was a 1990 graduate of William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, NY. Following his graduation, he joined the United States Coasts Guard where he faithfully served until his honorable discharge.
A great outdoorsman, Buddy was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved grilling, golfing, camping and building campfires. He was an avid surfer and spending time on the beach (aka his office). Buddy never met a stranger he didn't befriend and whether singing karaoke, bowling, or dancing, he was the life of the party.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his lifelong partner and best friend, Mary Beth Bowen; daughters', Keona Squires McManus (husband, Dalton) and Maelee Squires; sons, Ethan Squires and John Quinones; brother, Kregg Squires (wife, Chanda). He is also survived by a grandson, Beckham McManus and nephew, Liam Squires.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566.
