Harry Woods Poole, 81, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his home.
Born on August 18, 1934 in Durham, NC, he was the son of the late Harry Young and Mary Woods Poole.
Mr. Poole was a U.S. Army Veteran serving actively during the Cuban Crisis and also with the U.S. Army Reserve.
Survivors include four brothers, Larry, Jimmy, Bobby and Billy Poole. He is predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Shirley G. Poole.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
