Today I saw that Jackie passed. My sympathies to all her family.Her Great Smile , laugh &Personality will be missed by all.

Mike, Irving and I are so sorry to hear of Jackie's passing.  We shared so many wonderful memories with you too. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Barbara and I always enjoyed our visit with Jackie when we were at the beach house.  Such a lovely person and loved Mike and her babies.  We will surely miss our visit with her.

Jackie and I grew up across the street from one another in Mooresville.  We were one another’s first friend.  She was a little older so  I tried to do everything she did!  We played outside til the streetlights came on!   We roller skated, played in the mud, rode our bikes  to the pool, and sometimes walked to the movies together!  We thought we could do almost anything!  Jackie  continued to have that attitude, overcoming some pretty big hurdles throughout her early  years.  Both our families moved away from East McNeely Ave.   Those early memories remained throughout our lives!   Thanks for the wonderful memories, Jackie❤️

We only knew miss Jackie a couple of years but she was a great lady! We meet doing some work for them and instantly clicked. Jackie always made us feel welcome to her family and loved ,it was like we had known her our whole life. She brought elegance every where she went. We loved her and she will be greatly missed.

I first met Jackie many years ago in line at the ladies room at OD Pavillion. Being such a friendly person she enticed a conversation by saying " Hey I know you"! I asked her how she knew me and I quote her "You are my new best friend"! That was Jackie. A loving dear friend and a treasure to all as she was everyone's best friend. Whenever she walked in a room everyone knew she was there. Such a delightful giving person. She will be missed. God bless her and her family. She will not be forgotten! It is with the deepest sadness  that We are acknowledging the passing of a very special and lovely friend.
JACKIE was very private and yet we always knew she cared and she  showed her caring and loving manner in a very quiet yet profound way.   She loved celebrating and taking part in the celebrations to honor her   friends.  Very often she would make certain that she volunteered her own home to make someone else’s occasion even more meaningful.    CHRISTMAS was JACKIE’s heartfelt and most special time and she and Mike  always shared  that most wonderful time of year with their friends.
We will truly miss JACKIE and we are all committed to carry on the memory of our friendship and be available for MIKE and any needs he may have!   
All of JACKIE and MIKE’s families will be in our hearts and we know that their will always be a void in all of our  HEARTS AND THAT JACKIE SOMEHOW MAY KNOW THAT SHE WILL REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS and MEMORIES FOREVER.
We are FOREVER GRATEFUL, HONORED  AND  BLESSED that our LIVES WERE TOUCHED BY JACKIE COOKE!!!

No words can express the void we feel in our hearts.  We have countless wonderful memories that we will always cherish.   Jackie was a one of a kind friend and will be truly and forever missed!  Mike, we will always be here for you.

I am sad to hear about the passing of Jackie.  She was a good friend through the years.  Jackie always met you with a smile and a hug.  May God embrace Jackie's family and help them through their loss.  










Mike: Old friends from Manteo sending our love and sympathy.  Never knew anyone who could brighten up a room like your Jackie.  It's been quite a few years since we spent fun times together.  Her passing makes those old memories even more precious.  So very sorry for your loss.

I was very sad to hear this news. Jackie was a dear friend at Garinger High School. I have many fond memories of summer days spent water skiing out at my families’ river  cabin. Our high school beach trips were filled with special times and  many laughs. Jackie lit up any room she entered with her terrific smile and friendly ways. Sending you and your family love and prayers. No more words, but heavy thought of Jackie. 

Patience and I always enjoyed the times we were with Jackie and Mike. She will be missed. 

I am so very sorry, Mike...so many fun memories with Jackie over so many years.  She lit up a room when she walked in...so lovely...and that smile...I can still see it...hugs, dear

I am so shocked to learn of Jackie's passing.   I remember her living down the street from me in Charlotte when I was 8 years old.  Our friendship continued at Garinger with our graduation in 1962.  
36 years later, I was in Conway and recognized her right away when she was working as an interim pharmacist.  She hadn't changed a bit!  I continued to see her when attending some of Garinger's events in Charlotte through the years.  She remained so vivacious and lovely.  My prayers are with her family at this very sad time.

Jackie will be missed by so many friends....and I am one of them.  I  will think of her fondly and remember she could always find reasons to smile.
