We're very saddened to hear about Jimi's passing. Our thoughts are with you Beverly & Dean. Jimi was a wonderful friend, a one of a kind person who, when you mentioned his name, made you smile. He himself had a warm smile & was a joy to be around. He was very patient & generous, & a great musician. Brian and all the others he played with will miss him dearly. May time heal the pain you are going through right now.

Jimi you were such a dependable and loving husband. I remember going to lunch at Elliott and there you were sitting in your van just as patient no matter if Beverly would be 5 or 10 minutes late. I remember your wonderful smile, did not say much but you had that smile. I don't know if you were there every day but I know it went on for over 10 years. I thought that was so sweet! God Bless You!!!!!!

I was blessed to be able to play for a while with Jimi...In fact,I was fortunate enough to play with two Jimis @ the same time-Jimi Brown & his friend,fellow area musician,Jimi Zee...Jimi Brown was one of the nicest folks I've met in my 13 1/2 years down here.Always made me feel @ home from the start.Really nice fella & great bass player.Prayers for his family.

Jimi-I already miss you so very much. Who am I going to take smoke breaks with?  Who will be out on the balcony at night where we would talk about how our day went?  Who will drop everything and run over to help Frank & me when we are trying to put in our microwave?  But, most importantly, Jimi, you are truly missed for the wonderful human being that you were.  It was an absolute privilege to have you in our lives and we are grieving that loss.

A true friend and neighbor in NMB. When we first came here, Jim was the first person I made friends with. Always helpful in his soft spoken manner. You will be missed my friend. Our condolences to Beverly and the rest of the family.

Jimi was a "Great Man", and a brother to me. Jimi was family. He was a man that was good to all people and would do anything to help them out.
Some may not know about Jimi's extraordinary Life because he wasn't the bragadosish type. He never bragged about the famous people he played with, the movies he was in, the sports he played or businesses he owned with his brothers.
By the way "Cleveland Browns" was his Team. Jimi loved when I'd bring him his Jelly Belly's to Jay's he went nuts over them.
He loved his family & mine as well. My wife Diane & daughter's Krystal & Janeen Loved & Adored him. Our thoughts & prayers are with Miss Beverly & Family.
Jimi will be Greatly Missed and Never Forgotten.

t's Showtime in Heaven tonight!
What a great guy and what a loss to all of us that either knew him or had the honor to perform with him. 
Jimi Brown has left this Planet and journeys on to perform on another stage. 
He was the consummate showman. I miss him so much!
A real professional that performed with many great across the USA over the years, including Frank Sinatra.
Jimi was not just a bass player, but a man that made everyone feel good on stage and off stage. Always with a smile and a kind word as soon as you walked in the venue's door.
He loved performing and really loved producing the Jam @ Jay's every Sunday night.
We believe that he ran the Jam @ Jay's for over 15 years making it one of the best known Jams in the USA.
That has to be a record!
We will miss playing with him or just chatting with him about racing or whatever else he had on his mind.
So Jimi, one more time as you would always say: " And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, It's Showtime"
I will miss those words and the excitement he would generate everywhere he performed!
It surely is Showtime in Heaven tonight!
