Jane Rutledge

Jane F. McGraw Rutledge, 86, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Born on September 1, 1937, in Jodie, West Virginia, Jane was a daughter of the late Chessie Maurine Brown McGraw and Jamie F. McGraw. She was the wife of 68 years to Broaddus L. “Buck” Rutledge, Sr.

Following the retirement of her husband, Jane and Buck relocated to Little River, SC from Northeast Ohio. She was a talented seamstress and also enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking. Jane was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Buck are sons, Broaddus L. “Bob” Rutledge, Jr., Brett Alan Rutledge (wife, Penny); daughter, Susan Ann Young (husband, Michael); sisters, Judith Kay Harvey and Mary Susan Gray. Her grandchildren, Rebecca Rutledge, S.A. Rutledge, Tiffany Young Pribyl, Tim Rutledge and Ethan Rutledge as well as a great-grandson, Matthew are also surviving.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
