

Jason J. Griffith, 72, of North Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Burlington, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, December 14, 2016 with his family by his side.
Jason was born in Loris, SC., a son of the late Julius and Gertrude Stanley Griffith. He was a faithful and active member of Living Water Baptist Church in Longs, SC., and a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed and loved activities such as softball, where he had played a number of various softball organizations, including 50 and over World Series Championship team and was the recipient of numerous awards. He also was an avid golfer. He retired from Star Foods in Burlington, NC as co-owner and operator.
Surviving are his loving family and devoted wife of 21 years, Joanne Neese Griffith; son, Christopher (Karen) Griffith; 3 daughters, Pam Griffith Denney, Belinda Griffith Butler and Lindsay Forrester (Derek) Denard; brother, Donald (Michelle) Griffith; sister-in-law, Lupe; 5 grandchildren, Holly, Amanda, Justin, Summer, and Mitchell; 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Winston and son-in-law, Carl Denney.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 17 at Lee Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday at Living Water Baptist Church.
