Joyce Norman Waters, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Born in Norfolk, VA, was the daughter of the late Normand Elzie Norman, Sr. and Alice Maureen Freeman-Norman. She was the wife of the late William Waters.
Following her retirement from AT&T, she became a paralegal. She recently relocated to South Carolina to be with her sister, Jeanne Nelson-Mahoney.
Surviving is her sister, Jeanne Nelson-Mahoney, brother-in-law, Michael James Mahoney and stepsister, Joan Norman-Berra and brother-in-law, Donald Berra. She is preceded in death by her brother, Normand Elize Norman, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 6623 Lower Meigs Road, Meigs, GA 31765, where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband.
