Julian F. Adams

Julian Frederick Adams, 87, of Little River passed away peacefully at home with his family on June 28, 2023. Julian was born on December 4, 1935 to Julian F. Adams, Sr. and Hilda Mott Adams (Yarbough).

Julian served in the Navy during peace time, spending most of his service time in Panama. After his tour of duty he attended and graduated from Campbell College. He was a mortgage banker, life insurance salesman, real estate salesman, owner of several restaurants and bar. He loved people.

Julian was quite the athlete. In his early years he excelled in basketball and in his later years it was golf. He was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching and keeping up with the athletes, and discussing plays and strategies to win the game.

Julian is survived by his wife of 42 years JoAnne Adams, a son Julian F. Adams III “Rick” daughter and son in law Wanda and Jerry Wilder, daughter Terry Tucker, and step daughter and son in law Robin and Ron Shaw. He has one living sister Joy Aycock (spouse Jimmy) and a brother Daniel Adams (spouse Rae), four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, North Myrtle Beach, at 11:00 AM on Friday July 21, 2023

Arrangements are under the direction of the Lee Funeral Home and Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach.
