Marilyn R. Miale

Marilyn R. Miale, 78, of Longs, SC, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2021. Born in Rochester, NY, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Sarah Scardato Ronzo. She was the wife of Eugene J. Miale.

Educated in the school system of Rochester, NY., Marilyn worked in banking throughout her career, beginning as a teller and retiring as a banker. She married Eugune J. Miale on November 23, 1961. Upon their retirement, they relocated to Longs SC in 2003, and became members of Our Lady of the Star Catholic Church. Marilyn was a woman who loved life, her family, her husband and her friends. She will be sadly missed, but she will never be forgotten.

Surviving are her husband, Gene of 59 years; daughter Sherri (Rob) Ford; and son, Armand (Lisa) Miale. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, Dylan, Colton, Andrew and Sydney, and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Marilyn’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9th at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
