Mark E. Lachapelle

Mark Elliott Lachapelle, suddenly passed away on August 13, 2020.

Born on July 22, 1961, in Stonham, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of Guy and Roberta Elliott Lachapelle of Sunset Beach, NC.

Mark lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and worked for Boston Human Services. He also worked as a mason part-time. Mark enjoyed spending his time listening to Bruce Springsteen’s music and watching the Bruins, the Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

Mark is survived by his loving parents, Guy and Roberta Lachapelle; a brother, Real T. Lachapelle (Daphne); a niece, Shaina Marie; and many cousins who loved Mark very much. Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Gary P. Lachapelle.

Services will be held at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, 5101 Ocean Hwy. W., Shallotte, NC, on September 21, 2020, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N. Beacon Street, Watertown, MA, 02472, or telephone at 617-924-3434.
