Mary Virginia Holshouser Beaver, born on May 19, 1937, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, joining her husband of 59 years, Bobby Joe Beaver, and her daughter Leslie Pittges. The beloved daughter of Mary Virginia and Leslie Holshouser, Ginny leaves behind her second daughter, Laurel Beaver, grandchildren Ainslie and Duncan Pittges, and son-in-law Jeff Pittges.
Ginny was a dedicated and loving mother spending years caring for her daughter Laurel. As a grandmother, she was warm, fun, and endlessly generous to those she cherished. Ginny was a skilled and accomplished bridge player, passionate about her family, disability advocation, dance, and basketball.
A graveside service at Ursinus United Church cemetery, Market Street. Rockwell, NC 28138 celebrating Ginny and her daughter Leslie, will be held on Saturday, October 4 at 11 a.m.
