

Mary Juel Manos, 81, of Newberry, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.
Born on May 12, 1936 in Little River, she was a daughter of the late Christian and Ella Juel.
Mrs. Manos was a fun-loving and giving person, who always made others smile. Mrs. Manos was a talented artist and chef and many remember her from Mary Juels House of Seafood in Myrtle Beach, that she and her husband Pete ran together. She will always be remembered as a devoted, kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother (Yiya) and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Sandy) Shelley of Pawley's Island, Stephanie (Dugan) McLaughlin of Knoxville, TN, Susie (Jake) Coleman of Pomaria, SC, Henry Manos of Chapin, SC, Dan (Beth) Manos of Longs, SC, Stat Manos of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Frank (Lori) Manos of Chapin, SC; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, J. Pete Manos and brothers, Frank and Benny Juel.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Lee Funeral Home.
