Michael B. Haun

Michael Haun, "Mike", 74, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 20, 1943 in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Franklin M. and Donna Lovell Haun.

Mr. Haun proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He attended Penn State University/Altoona Campus and was a member of the American Legion, VFW and volunteered with Make-A-Wish of SC.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Tonya Fariss Haun; daughter, Misty Brown (Keith) of Pawleys Island, SC; son, Brien Haun of Charleston, SC; brothers, Garry Haun (Jessie) of Fredericksburg, VA, Steve Haun (Eileen) of Pittsburg, PA; sister, Sherry Mentzer of Altoona, PA; and granddaughter, Camille Brown also of Pawleys Island. He is predeceased by a son, Michael Haun, Jr.; sister, Denise Haun; granddaughter, Hannah Brown; and brother-in-law, Dave Mentzer.

The family will receive friends at the home on Saturday, December 16 from 1 to 3 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
