

Nancy Grady Collins, 93, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Born Anna Marie Haughney, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Haughney and Anna Dooley. After her father’s musical career began to bloom, the family's name was changed to Grady and she became known as Nancy Grady.
Nancy was a very dedicated mother, and an involved member of her church, scouting, and community activities with her children. She was a homemaker most of her life, and after her children were grown, she then worked for eight years in Monmouth County, NJ with Social Services as a case manager. Following her relocation to Carolina Shores, she became a very active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Ladies' Guild, and an active participant in her church’s many service projects.
Nancy enjoyed traveling, cruises, playing bridge, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a “Silver Master” in bridge and played as often as possible.
Although 93 years old, Nancy was spry and enjoyed life. Always decked out to the nines, she enjoyed a great dinner and a fine glass of wine. Her children nicknamed her « Fancy Nancy ».
Nancy was preceded in death by two beloved husbands, Lloyd “Brad” Bradbury and William “Bill” Collins, two beloved sons, an infant son, David James Clune and an adult son Richard John Clune. Surviving are her beloved daughters Charlanne “Candy” Yelton, Deborah LaFrankie (husband, Terry), Lorraine Sullivan (husband, Peter) Jeanne-Marie Clune-Hrivnak (husband, Bill) Carol Clune, and her beloved son Robert Clune (wife, Sharon), 13 beloved grandchildren; and 12 beloved great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two beloved siblings, brother James Edward Grady, and her beloved sister Margaret Mary Albert. She is also survived by two beloved in-laws, brother-in-law, Ference Albert, and her sister-in-law, Louise Grady.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Lee Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
