

Olga Torres, 63, passed on to Eternity on Friday, February 20, 2026. Born on November 28, 1962, in New York City, New York. Joyfully Married and adored by Richard “Rick” Torres for over 34 years, she was the daughter of the late Alfredo Feliciano and Narcisa Cordero.
Following her graduation from Kennedy High School in the Bronx, Olga moved from New York to Maryland. In 1981, she began a successful 37-year career with the US Department of Agriculture. Olga had a voracious appetite for living, was vivacious and enjoyed dancing, especially Latin “Salsa” and an adoring for Christian music, as well as the simpler things such as reading, sewing, and her specific love language her cooking, particularly for family. She met Richard “Rick” Torres, and sharing her energetic spirit the two married on July 17, 1993. They blended their two families together where they enjoyed camping, traveling, bowling and visiting their beloved Island of Puerto Rico and Myrtle Beach, and where they moved in 2017 following their retirement. In 2019, they made their home in Calabash, NC. It was here they also found their church family at Beulah Baptist Church, where Olga graciously worked in the audio and sound booth in the church.
Surviving Olga in addition to her beloved husband, Rick, are her children, and spouses, Alexis “Alex” Garcia and Vanessa, Richard “Rick” Torres and Georgia, grandchildren, Dominic Garcia, Evan Torres, Ava Torres; sisters, Maria Feliciano, and Amanda Feliciano and husband Fred Dotson. Their family gatherings always a riotous love fests always orchestrated by Olga.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Beulah Baptist Church, 670 Hickman Rd, NW, Calabash, NC, 28467, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Florence National Cemetery, 850 Stockade Dr., Florence, SC 29506.
