P. Cameron Batten III

Paul Cameron Batten III, age 61, of Little River, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24th, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Cameron was born October 4, 1963 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was the son of Paul Cameron Batten Jr and of the late Marsha Justus Batten. Cameron was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and so much more. He will always be remembered for going out of his way to make someone laugh, his profound love for his family and his firm faith in Jesus. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of light to those who were blessed to know him.

Survivors include his former wife of 32 years, with whom he remained close, Mary Ann E. Batten; his two daughters, Rachael E. Batten and Ashley D. Batten; his brother Stacey M. Batten and his wife Shirley Batten; sister, Andrea Marshann Kelly and Robert F. Kelly III; multiple nieces and nephews, Alisha Singleton (Josh Singleton and family), Alyssa, Gabriel, Olivia and Miranda; multiple cousins who he loved very much along with his canine companion Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin David Batten and his mother, Marsha J. Batten.

A visitation for Cameron will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Lee Funeral Home, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, South Carolina 29566, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private immediately following the service.
