R. Boot Leonard, 56, died September 30, 2017.
Born on April 26, 1961 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Leonard and Jeannette Marquis and brother of Lenore Conte (John) and the predeceased Mark Leonard.
Boot founded Aces High Tattoo in 2010 and was an influential member of the legalization process for tattooing in South Carolina. He was a hot rod connoisseur with a passion for building custom vintage cars and vans. He was a sponsor and enthusiast of “The Southeast Gassers” as well as a respected member of the “Assorted Nuts”.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jan Kroner Leonard; children, Tina Renzulli, Jack Leonard (Harlie Lynn), and Merissa Mainolfi (Travis); grandchildren, Zach, Hunter, Aaliyah, Levi, Carter, and great granddaughter, Isabelle.
