Randy Scott Sigafoos, 44, of Longs, SC, died at his home on June 23, 2020. He was born on October 5, 1975 in Doylestown, PA. He is the son of Paul and Carol Durborow Sigafoos. Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Cori Lubberts Sigafoos. He was a hard worker as manager at Firestone Complete Auto Care in N. Myrtle Beach, and shared a mutual respect with all his coworkers.
He also leaves behind two brothers, Bryan (Traci) Sigafoos of Webster, NY; and Matthew (Savannah) Sigafoos of Longs, SC; five nieces and nephews, Jacqueline, Jessica and Ryan of Webster, NY; Arabella and Atalaya of Longs, SC; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Janine Hermenet Lubberts of Longs, SC; a sister-in-law, Nisha (Chris) Schreiber and brother-in-law, Eli Lubberts of Ontario, NY.
In addition, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his father-in-law, Eric Lubberts.
Randy had a beautiful heart and a smile that was contagious. His quick wit and sense of humor brightened many days. When he wasn’t working, he was an avid golfer and loved the peacefulness and relaxed atmosphere of being out on the greens laughing with his brother and friends. His ability to recall information when playing trivia games was uncanny, and he loved competitive games of any kind with family and friends. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and attended several games at Heinz Field to root them on. He also enjoyed driving “big” trucks, fast cars and “loud” motorcycles. Even though Randy had a full schedule, his most precious moments were spent at home with Cori and his “pups,” Sasha and Otto. He loved his family and cherished their time together and those special moments will be with us forever.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grand Strand Humane Society.
