Richard Alan (Ricky) Williamson, age 65, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. Richard was born in Charleston, SC on November 22, 1958 he was the son of Wade H. Williamson, Sr. and the late Viola McCracken.
Ricky loved his family and God. He loved riding his motorcycle and feeling the wind on his face. When he was living in Marion, he loved tending to the little farm he and mom had established. Once he moved back to Summerville, he enjoyed spending his mornings at Taco Bell with the staff who would become his friends. Ricky finally found a church he loved going to on Sundays and Wednesdays. He devoted his life to God and volunteered for all events that was put on.
Surviving in addition to his father include his loving wife of 43 year Cheryl Williamson; daughters, Lisa Williamson, Nikkie Williamson, and Christina W. Prikle (Brad); brother, David R. Williamson (Susan); sisters, Wanda Graham (Ed), Bobbie J. Johnson (Earl), and Teresa W. Lee (Allen); along with seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Wade H. Williamson, JR.
A celebration of life gathering officiated by Pastor Benny F. Williams, Jr. will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Carnes Cross Roads Church of God 1341 Old State Rd. Summerville, SC 29483.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be made to Carnes Cross Roads Church of God.
