He was the loving husband of Donna (Yost) Safrit. They were married for 40 years.
Robin was born on June 8, 1957 in Salisbury NC. Son of the late Charles Edward and Lillian (Davis) Safrit.
He was a conductor for the Norfolk Southern Railroad for 41 years.
He was a member and past chairman of United Transportation Union Local 783.
He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by two brothers; Edward L. Safrit and Jerry F. Safrit.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
