Roswell Marshall Wolfe, 83, died peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at McLeod Seacoast Medical Center.
Born on August 7, 1933 in Catskill, NY, he was the son of the late Gordon and Mae Whitbeck Wolfe.
Mr. Wolfe was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict, and a Major in the NY State Police Department. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and an avid golfer, playing daily.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Burns Wolfe; two sons, John Wolfe (Melodee) and James Wolfe; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is predeceased by his daughter, Jill Ellis and one brother.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday, April 3 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
